The ISDHE Conference is an appropriate space to bring together researchers (both students and professionals, mainly related to Applied Research in Medicine and healthcare) to communicate their results, developments and research experience and to promote the creation of technical and scientific collaboration networks. It is organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Medical Bioengineering, Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, Romania (umfiasi.ro).

Since the year 2011, as a response to the increasing relevance of multi-modal information sources in medical applications, we have extended the conference scope to research areas involving many medical informatics, bioengineering, and medical engineering topics, in addition to the original topic related to e-health domain (ehbconference.ro/CallforPapers.aspx).

This event is addressed to researchers, students and professionals in a wide range of disciplines including Engineering, Computer Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Health Sciences. The conference include keynote lectures by recognized experts on issues related to digital health and bioengineering. Contributions accepted by the conference’s Program Committee are presented in oral or poster sessions, in a hybrid manner (on-site or online).

The accepted papers are indexed in outstanding international databases, e.g. WoS/Clarivate, IEEE Xpress, SCOPUS or SpringerLink.

Traditionally, EHB conferences offer prizes for their best papers to the young researchers, usually in the form of IT objects.
